River Bend Nature Center’s Bug Fest is BACK! Come join us for a bug-filled evening Friday, September 4th, from 6 pm – 9 pm!! You can discover what a 10-inch millipede feels like and look a tarantula right in its eight eyes. Experience the beauty and fascination of bugs and learn about their importance in our daily lives.
There will be many activities for all ages, such as OSU’s Insect Adventure where you can see, hold, and touch a multitude of insects, a Bug Hunt Contest, Bug Games, Buggy Crafts, a Bug Costume Contest, plus so much more! Also, enjoy River Bend’s own “Bug Stop” Live Collection and experience “Peyton’s Place” Butterfly Exhibit in the Ruby N. Priddy Butterfly and Nature Conservatory! Enjoy a tasty hot dog and a bag of freshly popped popcorn! Come on out Friday, Friday, September 4th, from 6 pm – 9 pm.
