Don’t miss this years Museum Day Stroll ‘n Roll 2016. This free event will be held Saturday, September 10th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at venues throughout the City and one historic site just outside of the downtown area, including River Bend Nature Center.
This year?s event features 16 area museums, galleries, attractions, one historic site and one architecturally historic downtown church. There are three newcomers to the event this year: Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame, Jenny to Jet Exhibit and First United Methodist Church. The Hall of Fame opened its doors in March of this year and features 1000?s of historic and important artifacts and memorabilia from the men and women of professional wrestling. The Jenny to Jet exhibit is a wonderful, one of a kind display at the Wichita Falls Regional Airport depicting the history of flight in the city and First United Methodist Church is excited to be part of Stroll and Roll to be able to introduce visitors to their 135 year history.
