Plants for Sale
Mon, Mar 22
River Bend’s spring gardening Open House last Saturday was a good place to be while the snow was falling. We had a? number of visitors browsing our tables full of vegetables, flowers, grasses, and bushes. Thanks to Wichita Valley Landscape and the Native Plant Society for joining the plant sale! We hope to make this a tradition at River Bend.
We still have plenty of plants if you have more gardening fever!
Cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, broccoli, zinnias, watermelon, squash, ruella, aloe vera, dill, fennel, cilantro, various native grasses and other beautiful perennials for your landscape. There are more than I can list really.
The sale will be up all week and all of the 4 inch pots are only $1.00!
Come on out! If you just want to look at the sale table, let the front desk know. But if you want to enjoy the sights and sounds of River Bend, remember that general admission is only $3 per person and members are always free. The conservatory is blooming, the gardens are growing and the trail is a quieting walk.
Cheers,
Clyde the Quail
